How Narooma High School is inspiring excellence
A connected and inclusive school community
At Narooma High School, students are part of a welcoming and inclusive community where they feel valued, connected and proud of their identity. Through our Connected Communities approach, cultural spaces, yarning circles and Bush Tucker program, students deepen their cultural understanding and connection to Country. Strong partnerships with local organisations, families and our P&C help create meaningful learning experiences that build belonging, respect and a supportive school community.
Opportunities to learn, grow and excel
Every student is supported to achieve their personal best through quality teaching, targeted literacy and numeracy programs, and personalised learning and extension opportunities. Beyond the classroom, students can explore their interests through our successful Agriculture Show Teams, cultural programs, sport, creative arts and hands-on learning experiences. These opportunities help students discover their strengths, develop confidence and build the leadership and teamwork skills needed for future success.
Every student is encouraged to achieve
At Narooma High School, every student is valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their personal best. Guided by our core values of Respect, Aspire, Responsibility and Engage, we provide personalised learning and support to meet individual needs. Through tailored learning plans, small-group tuition, dedicated learning support and mentoring, students build confidence, develop essential skills and make progress in their learning.
