School Uniform Policy at Narooma High School
Narooma High School believes that uniforms foster school pride, assist in the development and maintenance of school tone and good conduct and provide ready identification by the community while students are travelling to and from school.
Our Policy Regarding Personal Appearance and School Uniform
NHS places a high priority in ensuring its choice of uniform provides adequate protection from damaging ultra violet rays from the sun. This is an important health and safety issue that requires watchful monitoring by our staff and our SRC.
Students attending school in inappropriate clothing will, although a note has been sent, be sent to the Deputy Principal. Contact will be made with home recommending you provide appropriate clothing or sending your child home or. If unable to contact home the student will be provided with school work during the day.
Please check that your child leaves home each day dressed in full uniform
