Narooma High School is an amazing, busy, creative space. We are diverse yet cohesive. We are filled with passionate students and staff who together, acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land upon which we live, learn, work and grow.
Today we launch the NHS “Take Flight”. This online site is our artificial school wellbeing, learning and curiosity hub while we cannot be together on site. It is a place to check in, play, look after your health, visit a virtual zoo, colour in, solve problems, play games and continue to learn off site. It is abuzz with ideas and activities. It encourages mindfulness, dancing, exploring, connecting and continued learning. It is an ever changing zone designed to challenge us, support us and inspire us.
You don’t have to wear a mask to visit “Take Flight.” There is no need to socially distance, you can wear a hat, you can wear slippers and you can even have a drink and something to eat while learning. We will be adding to this continually with challenges, ideas and other different learning treats. If you have ideas, please send them through.
We may be apart, but together we can connect, learn, inspire and wonder. We are all in this together.
